Job Summary:
This position is responsible for analyzing data, business needs, and processes to collaborate with the marketplace operational management team, identifying areas for improvement of the marketplace’s performance.
Incumbent will act as a bridge between business stakeholders to facilitate the alignment of the marketplace’s strategies with the company’s strategy including measuring the performance of each department and provides assistance in planning for corrective actions and continuous improvement if necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collects and analyzes data, trends, and current processes to understand accuracy of information and root causes of issues with data continuity.
- Work with stakeholders to define needs and ensure solutions fit the business’ objectives.
- Develops holistic recommendations, analyzes data and trends in order to develop solutions to enhance the overall performance of the marketplace and Company.
- Oversees data collection into systems in order to provide analysis for problem solving.
- Develops and generates reports for subsequent actions to all levels within the company including the Executive Committee.
- Creates and conducts training and testing materials for new processes.
- Presents findings based on trends and research with the ability to explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Writes and revises procedures on selected processes.
- Provides coaching and guidance to department heads regarding data and information in formal presentations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with and resolve conflicts at all levels of the organization.
- Good presentation, motivation, and persuasive skills preferred.
- Advanced skills in the use of computer software, such as Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, relational data bases, scheduling, data warehousing, etc.
Education Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, economics, IT, information management system, or a related field of study.
