Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing supervision and oversite of daily rig activities for field supervisors, rig crews and well service operations to ensure proper techniques, best practices, and compliance meet or exceed company and customer expectations. Prefer for the candidate to be located within the general area or who is willing to relocate to the area.
Travels to all of the Company's work-sites as requested by the VP Operations and Assets to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Supervises, trains, and coaches the day-to-day work activities of the field supervisors and rig crews performing all aspects of well servicing including rig up, well control, standard operations, best practices, common operating guidelines, and safety to ensure all customer requests and requirements are met and according to the specifications in all of the Company's marketplaces.
- Audits the installation, maintenance, daily work plans and service processes of rig crews during field visits to ensure work is performed according to company policies and procedures in all of the Company's marketplaces.
- Supervises, trains, and coaches field supervisors and rig crews to ensure operational excellence of service quality that embodies the Company's core values of safety, exceptional customer service, employee satisfaction and development, and respect and integrity always.
- Ensures all equipment functions properly and meets or exceeds company specifications.
- Develops and implements appropriate procedures for enforcing or interpreting established guidelines and practices to improve performance, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Addresses customer concerns or problems and recommends measures in resolving them to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Wears proper safety equipment on the job (supplied by the company) - Goggles, face shields or safety glasses, Ear plugs/muffs, steel toes boots, hard hats, safety belts, anti-fall devices, SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus), H2S detectors, slicker or tyvek chemical suits and gloves.
- Fully enforces all Company policies, procedures, directives.
- Takes accountability for full compliance of the safety management system when visiting Company work-sites.
- Provides information and reports as required by the VP Operations and Assets.
May serve as senior operations support.
Qualifications
- Must have five (5) or more years of work experience as a well service rig field supervisor or well service rig operator.
- Must be self-motivated and possess good judgment.
- Supervisory and leadership skills, including planning and scheduling of field logistics.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people within and outside of the company.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must pass post-employment drug/alcohol urinalysis.
- Must pass post-offer "Essential Job Functions Test".
