Job Summary:

 

The HR Coordinator will perform administrative duties to support the operations team in all phases of the onboarding lifecycle. This position will be held accountable to ensure consistent and timely completion of centralized pre-employment services for our candidate experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Administers human resources policies and procedures in an assigned location.
  • Facilitates data entry of new hires, rehires, transfers, status changes and terminations.
  • Supports the overall Key onboarding strategy in collaboration with all the members of Operations and HR teams.
  • Works closely with the HR/ Recruiting/ Hiring Manager to assist with scheduling phone, onsite and virtual interviews.
  • Ensures an excellent candidate experience throughout the lifecycle of employee onboarding.
  • Tracks candidates throughout hiring process in our applicant tracking system.
  • Assists with employment offers and total rewards communication.
  • Manages the pre-employment process by generating background checks, monitoring drug screens, and acting as liaison between candidates, recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Ensures all pre-employment requirements are performed in accordance with company policy.
  • Assists candidates with any issues while applying for positions including online applications and prescreen interviews.
  • Manages new hire requirements by using Key’s applicant tracking system and onboarding system.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to build strong relationships and work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all types of employees, from front-line workers to executives.
  • Strong understanding of internal and external communications strategies; ability to think strategically.
  • Demonstrated capacity to be highly creative, analytical, and data-driven at the same time.
  • Experience in supporting, executing, and maintaining HR projects and programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to details; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Being proactive to accomplish objectives and achieve goals beyond what is required.
  • Understanding of Federal and State employment laws.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTs:

 

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Additional training from business or technical school is preferred.

A college degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.

2 + years in a Human Resources or Executive Administration in the Staffing/Recruiting industry.

MS Office skills, ATS systems Certifications: Other: Experience with HRIS/HCM systems.

Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills required in both English and Spanish.
