Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing management and oversight of daily activities for Operations Superintendents.  The goal of the team is to ensure proper techniques, best practices, and compliance that meets or exceeds company and customer expectations when performing daily rig activities. 

This position reports to: VP HSE and Operations Excellence

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee, coordinate, and assess the activities of the operations superintendent to drive operational improvement by performing the following actions: 

  • Review the output of their field operations observations to identify trends, commonalities, and actionable improvements in operations polices, practices, and methods.
  • Coordinate with the VP of HSE and Operations Excellence in coordination with Region and Marketplace VPs of Operations to prioritize and allocate the time of the operations superintendents field operations visits to yield the greatest impact.
  • Supervises, trains, and coaches the operations superintendents in the expectations for observing the day-to-day work activities of the field supervisors and rig crews performing all aspects of well servicing including rigging up, well control, standard operations, best practices, common operating guidelines, and safety to ensure all customer requests are requirements are met and according to the specifications in all of the Company's marketplaces.
  • Reviews the findings of the operations superintendent’s audits of the installation, maintenance, daily work plans and service processes of rig crews during field visits to determine whether work is performed according to company policies and procedures in all of the Company's marketplaces.
  • To make recommendations for training, coaching, or other appropriate actions where expectations in meeting the Company's core values of safety, exceptional customer service, employee satisfaction and development, and respect and integrity always, are not met.
  • Assists in developing and implementing appropriate procedures for enforcing or interpreting established guidelines and practices to improve performance, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Addresses customer concerns or problems and recommends measures in resolving them to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Goggles, face shields or safety glasses
    • Ear plugs/muffs
    • Steel toes boots
    • Hard hats
    • Safety belts
    • Anti-fall devices
    • SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus)
    • H2S detectors
    • Slicker or tyvek chemical suits
    • Gloves
  • Fully enforces all Company policies, procedures, directives.
  • Takes accountability for full compliance of the safety management system when visiting Company work-sites.
  • Provides information and reports as required by the VP HSE and Operational Excellence.
  • May serve as senior operations support.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Five (5) or more years of work experience as a manager or field supervisor in well servicing operations.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess good judgment.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills, including planning and scheduling of logistics.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people within and outside of the company.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess valid driver's license.
  • Must pass post-employment drug/alcohol urinalysis.
  • Must pass post-offer "Essential Job Functions Test."

 

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • An associate degree in a related field preferred.
